Up and running in just a few moments, Nirbi LoRa Mains Power Failure Detector is a standalone mains outage detector that sends a LoRa message immediately after a power outage or recovery. Its innovative technology based on capacitors allows operation without batteries and therefore maintenance-free. The detector can be screwed to a wall or placed on a flat support.
A power outage immediately triggers the sending of an alert message over the LoRa network. The detector is then powered by internal capacitors.
A power recovery for at least 10 seconds triggers the sending of another LoRa message indicating this. The internal capacitors recharge.
Every 24 hours, a LoRa heartbeat message is sent to the network.
All alerts are made by LoRaWAN message. A byte is sent for each alert on the LoRaWAN network as described below:
