Nirbi mains power failure detectors
Detect power outages and no longer suffer the consequences!
Cold rooms, freezers, refrigerators, boiler rooms, computer servers, second homes, controlled mechanical ventilation, lift pumps, air conditioners, etc. These equipments require a permanent mains supply but are not protected from an breakdown or a trip or even a lightning strike.
Commonly called power failure alarm or power outage detector or power outage warning, Nirbi Mains Power Failure Detector is designed to secure these installations and allows you to be immediately notified in the event of a fault. It simply plugs into a standard 230V 50Hz socket.
2 versions are available and will adapt to your configuration:
- a 4G version which communicates with contacts via mobile phone network. A SIM card from the operator of your choice must be inserted into the detector so that it can send SMS and make phone calls during outages and restorations. Up to 5 contacts called.
- a LoRa version perfect for reporting sector status information to a low-energy LoRaWAN network.
Finally, no maintenance is necessary because the detector uses a system of capacitors to accumulate energy and therefore does not need batteries.

When the detector is connected to the mains, it will first store electrical energy in its capacitors for a few minutes in order to build up a reserve. The mains presence indicator is flashing green. Once storage is complete, the mains presence indicator turns solid green and the detector is operational. Voltage presence information is sent.
If the mains voltage is out for more than 100 milliseconds, the mains presence indicator turns red and a power outage alert is sent. The detector is then powered by its energy reserve.
A mains recovery for more than 10 seconds turns the detector back on and sends voltage return information.
Thanks to the use of capacitors, no batteries are required. There is therefore no maintenance to be carried out, the detector can operate for several years without intervention.
